TRUST ME

TRUST ME
-Rajashree

I am not sure, why i am obsessed with Indian authors of this kind. By 'this kind', i simply mean authors who just want to 'write' books. May be because of the simple language or may be because i just read it and forget it.
To describe "Trust Me" briefly, i can tell an addition to the genre of Almost single, Anything for you ma'am, or Above Average. Or say the "Followers of Chetan Bhagat", These books i guess and written to make it the "common mans story" i guess!!. You find all these people around you and feel nice reading it. And in the reviews you find the "Filmi-Plots" coming up. But what if this is all about movies?, It is "Trust-Me". The story of "Paro", who come from her village to Bombay, she started working in an advt firm, then the problems she faced. Her love, break-ups, friends, The "Jumbojis" movie, Rahul, the realization all men are bastartds.. and ofcourse "no-one has ever died of a broken heart".
I guess chunks of real life stories are nicely knit, but an abrupt and usual end takes away the bliss. And lot of physical.. spoils the story. But its funny and trust me, the readers might find it a nice time-pass, of course when you have nothing muchto do!!
I am starting with my own ratings for books
(TRUST ME- 1.5/5, means avoidable)
Ratings for other books
in order of my previous posts
Love Letters - 4.5/5, must read
3 mistakes of my life - 2, average/avoidable
Joker in the Pack - 3, good to read
